I'm 16 and my parents and I are considering buying a Toyota Yarus as my first car. I like its looks and I've ready many good reviews. But living in New Hampshire I've been wondering if it handles well in snow. It has such tiny tires it doesn't seem like it would hold up. Anybody else know?

perhaps if the snow weren't too deep as it rides very low to the ground.

we have about 9000 miles on one and it seems to be a good toyota. which means it runs well and gets good gas mileage do to the light weight of the car.

it doesn't handle like a sports car but then it is an economy car. its four cyclinder so it doesn't have a lot of get up and go, but like i said it is a toyota and so there is a certain amount of reliablity in that.

if you are a good student in school and you are looking for reliable transportation that you can take care of and drive though your years of college, this may be a good car for you.

We have two of them (Yarises), live in Salt Lake City, Utah, and just had 8 inches of snow yesterday. Both cars had no problems getting around. These are the best cars available for the money!

it'll handle the same way as other compact cars... However, if you are going for a compact car to start with, i suggest you to get a Corolla instead, they are just a lil bit pricier, while they maintains the same fuel econmy and has a lot more rooms.
