Buy a keyless entry remote from Ebay, make sure it's a respected seller, and ask them for programming instructions. I got mine for a '99 firebird for ~$35, instructions are painless and super easy. I bought mine from remote-4-u. This "kit" everyone's talking about is a severe waste of time and money, the automakers know you will lose your keyfob, and they make it easy to replace.

they make a kit to do this with ,but it cost a lot more than a regular kit does, and its a lot of work trying to wire all of it in,i think the kit is over two hundred by its self, and then there's the wiring to deal with and that isn't to easy to do,really it can be done, but you have to ask your self is it worth doing it too,and if the answer is yes you can get the kit through any advance auto parts store, but if you have to pay to have this done, its going to cost you a lot, good luck,i hope this help,s.
