i got some new rims on my truck (89 silverado) and these rims are off of a 91 ( http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cd/0079.asp ) click that link or copy n paste it into the address bar, those are the rims and anyway they are rubbing on the upper control arms and i put them on the lathe and ground down like 3 thou off of the rim back and it fit properly and then i put it on the ground n now its hitting again while turning grrrr can you guys tell me what i can do it would help me out alot

I've got a 61 beetle with a 71 engine, and I just did a engine overhaul (new machined valves, pistons, cylinders) we also have a brand new empi weber-clone Carb, and the gas is getting in the crankcase now,
any possible reasons?

I just bought a 2003 Xterra and am having problems with the turn signal light switch where it don't cancel on turns at all times Only intermittently.
The dealer replaced the Multi-function switch, but that did NOT fix the problem.

They are at a (don't know what to do next) scenario.

Has anyone had this problem?

Please let me know at what degreee does your vehicle signal swith cancels, for example at quarter steering wheel turn (90)degrees, at half steering wheel turn (180)degrees, or at 3/4 steering wheel turn 270 degrees, or full turn.
This is after you make the turn and the steering wheel is back at center straight.

Mine when it cancels it will cancel from (180) degrees after you make turn to a full turn Intermittenly. So it is never at same degrees.

The dealer service manager says they should all cancel at (90)degrees. Mine don't and don't know what to do next.
This is a safety issue with me.

I would hate to go mile after mile with signal light blinking if I forget to cancel it manually.

I have seen the pictures of the heads and they look like standard wedge heads they do not look hemispherical at all?

I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee, that last Autumn the air conditioner went out. I took it in to a local dealer, and was told that the condensor was "bent" and had to be replaced. In addition, to access the condensor, I was told that they would have to "take off" the front bumper. Doing so would require at least a $1000 repair bill. I decided to pass on the repair since I would not need the air condition over the winter. I do want it fixed for this upcoming summer. Is it necessary to remove a bumper to access a "bent" condensor?

plastic washer has failed and allowed pass. side to come off the "knuckle",the knuckle on drier side is slightly flanged and not on bad side,should i have to replace that part as well as the arm.they tell me plastic ring can't be replaced ,arm and ring are one part.

Are there 4 sensors - 1 before each of two cat convertors and 1 after each of two cat converters? Wiring diagram says it is so but the shop manual only shows 2 sensors on the exhaust diagram - one each on the input to the two cat converters. Also which is side bank 2 on?
