I recently traded my '00 Ranger for a '01 Galant V6 (auto) LS. The other day I noticed a "loping" sound as I accelerated my car through the gears. It's only when the car is under load I can hear the "loping" but not when the car is in park or when I'm at a stop (idle).

Btw, when the car is in neutral/park the motor revs fine w/out any loping.

Also, when the car is in gear and I'm at a complete stop I can hear a very low level but loud harmonic resonance throughout the car (almost like very deep bass). If I put the gear into neutral/park (i.e., no load on the motor) the harmonic resonance goes away. Suggestions?

So far the only mods are a Holley 575 single pumper 4bbl carb, a Holley Dominator dual plane aluminum intake, a 1 inch carb spacer, a 3 row crossflow radiator, and a flex fan. It is a 302 block with 289 crank, pistons, connecting rods, cam, and heads. This will be for a 1967 A code mustang.

I own a 2005 Matrix XR AWD. I got it as a CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) back in August and love it. It fits me perfectly, and looks slick in black! It has the 6 disc CD changer, moonroof, lip kit, fogs, 16" alloys, VIP security, bumper protector. It's basically loaded!

Anyways, I was curious as to the AWD system itself. It did seem to get good ratings, I know it is not for heavy use like my gf's 05 Liberty Renegade, but what is it capable of? Just wanted to get a feel for people that own them. Thanks!

Ok, so I know that everyone has their preference and I want to here some opinions as to why. I have owned both Ford and GM and they have had their equal share of problems. So I'm not a ford guy or a GM guy, I just like getting the most for my money.

I am looking for a full size 4 door truck. Its between Ford and GM. Ford seems to offer a bit more features for the money, but who actually offers the better truck is what i want to know.

I have a 1996 dodge conversion van 2500, and I have been putting regular gas, the other day I put 89 gas and she drove very well. She hada lot of strenght. My question is for people that own one what type of gas do u put on her? It's 1996 and I do not have the book.
