try turning the key on for 5secs then off. repeat that several times. IT has an electric fuel pump this should get the gas back up to the injectors. good luck

If you have an electric fuel pump, this may have gone out. Also change your fuel filter. If the vehicle has a carburetor or not, get a little gas and prime the carburetor or put some in the duct leading from the air filter to the motor (for fuel injected cars) I had the same problem in my 98 van, and this worked. If anything else, buy the Haynes automotive book at an automotive parts shop. Runs about $15 and WILL diagnose your problems. Hard to be a virtual mechanic. But do the priming with gas first. This means to put about 4 tablespoons of gas. Too much and you can drown it. But it would eventually start up.

Don't know, but I had a '90 Probe, and it was a horrible thing that constantly needed repairs (clutch replaced 3 times!--yeah, I've always driven manual with no problem). The only thing that could be worse is probably a Pinto. Get rid of it ASAP!

You may need to change the fuel filter now. If your tank went empty the filter may have sucked up little pieces of metal or rust or any "trash" in the tank. Then turn the key on for a moment and then try to crank.

If you have an owners manual try that.If not try calling a local collision shop as they have to reset them all the time. But you may just have to crank the car over for awhile to get the gas up there-good luck.
