My 2000 S10's check engine light has been on for a while, despite me flashing the OBDII system a couple times. The shop cant bring up the code, and no change in engine charachteristics so I didnt worry about it. I usually get gas every day (I drive over 100 miles a day), but if I dont go for a day or two, when I take the gas cap off, air whooshes out of the tank. I dont know why though. It is lowered and I did check the underbody for tank punctures or damaged lines and didnt find anything, as everything is set above the frame rails and shouldnt have hit the ground at any point. Emmission test coming up, they wont let you test with a check engine light on, and they know if you flashed the computer before you came. Thanks for any help!
