Yes you can convert it but you need to make sure you have the right transmission for the V8.
You will also need to get different front springs for it, the V6 springs are not strong enough to support the V8 and you will have issues with it sagging.

the 2.8 v6 trany will not bolt to a small block.you will also need to change the exhaust crossover to a v8 model.you shouldn't have any problems with the front springs.i prefer 6 cylinder springs cause they will help in the weight transfer.

whoa don't ever choose a piece of crap mustang over a camaro, anyways it will drop right in, just change springs to drop springs and you will maybe have to modify you crossmember, and exhaust
