They are very nice and reliable. The 2007s come with a 5 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty!

On a side note - SpanishFly, are you kidding me? You'd never buy american again because the power window motor quit working and you've had no other problems with the car? Good luck, you'll need it...

My wife and I own a 03 GMC Envoy XL (3rd row sitting), it is a very comforteable vehicle to travel. Gas mileage is not that bad avg about 20-22 on the hwy.
But after we bought it, we found out that the consumer reports were not that good it was rated about 4-5 on scale of 10, it said that the reliability was not the greatest.
As soon as the Mnfg warranty run out at 36100 miles the cyliniod for the power window of the rear passenger door went out, (window was stuck in the down position) I had to go and get extended warranty through my bank and get it fix.
SO far no other problems have surfaced.......just do your homwork. From now on I would only buy Forgein.

My ex-boss leased two and really likes them. She cringed when I told her that my vehicle at the time got 400 miles out of a tank of gas though. This didn't stop her from leasing her Envoy though. These have the worst mileage for any midsize SUV about 15 in the city and 20 highway. But to be fair, I have a midsize car that gets about 18 and 25 respectively.

Drive a '04. Great riding SUV. Have 100K+ of mostly hwy driving. Have no major maintance cost, just follow maintance schedule. One thing I have noticed about mileage is in the city not very good, highway mpg is twice as good if not more. Yes I am getting ready to buy another.
