I am not too sure about Japan, but here in the states the first truck to come out was called the Datsun 1200 Pick Up and it came out in 1960, and later a SUV/Truck came out in 64-65 called the Nissan Patrol, it was similar to the old Toyota FJs.

You mean the "410 truck" had a 60hp round plaque on the front fenders. Actually there are some still running around.

Apparently they were making trucks by 1935. Since the trucks were made for the Japanese military machine, I doubt they had a name for them.
