If they can "Jump Time" what does it cost to correct the problem. How do you check for this.

Why is this sequence "long long short long" always blown by an oncoming train at railroad crossings? All I can find is that it means "Q" in american morse code.

I drive 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Today was snowing for the first time in my city and when I was on highway, I was driving so fast around 60. All other cars were behind me, driving slowly. I was like wow suckers lol.. Don't you feel the same way sometimes? I love 4x4, I know it's not safe to drive fast when its snow, but I feel so secure in my Jeep. (o:

I have a Jeep Cherokee. My car wont start or even pretend to start, unless I really jerk on the gear shifter, But lately its been being testy with that, and now sometimes it wont start at all. what could be causing this? It's not my starter.

I posted another question asking about buying new vs. used Hondas, but now I'm wondering if I shouldn't just run my current car into the ground.

I have a 93 Honda del Sol that I've had since 2003. It's coming up on 124,000 miles. There are currently no issues with it (knock on wood) and the only problems I've had are parts failing because of age. I've replaced the master/slave cylinders, radiator, and some other stuff I can't remember off-hand.

I was thinking of getting a CR-V because I could use more room now that I have a dog, but I don't NEED the room, I just prefer it. Space won't be a pressing issue for a few more years.

I'm wondering if it would be better to just keep on driving the del Sol until it costs more to repair it than the car is worth -- or if I should sell it while I can still get at least some type of return on it.

From a financial standpoint, what's the best option here?

As an example, will the salesman roll his eyes at me if I give him a firm offer of $11,000 for a car that's selling for $12,000?

As long as I make an offer that's well above the invoice price for that car, the dealership is still making a profit and doesn't have much reason to complain...right?

My front tires are good, but my back tires are kind of worn. Winter is here in Salt Lake City and the roads are slippery. I drive an '03 Celica GT-S.

I'm rather poor so I'd need to get the tires on credit. If I get winter I'd have to change in the summer, which means spending more money and finding storage in my apartment.

I don't really want all-season because my front tires have good treads.

Sipe sounds good but I don't know how much of a benefit it will help with ice/slush.

Our group will be four adults plus one child. We will all have luggage. Would a large "premium" car like a Chrysler Pacifica be ok (to travel about 2 hours) or should we get an SUV or minivan? The Pacifica would be considerably cheaper than an SUV or minivan.

I live near train tracks. and I saw the Union pacific truck out there today, these guys put up these signs, on the side of the tracks. Not near any roads. They are about 4 feet high. There's 2 ones yellow with a big red X in it, and the other is all yellow.
They dont say anytihng. But they pull right out of the ground, so they can be switched. What are they for?
