I have seen blue and brown only please tell me for 2 stroke trimmer 40:1 HOW DO I MIX IT

it can be brown blue red even yellow depending on what color the oil is that you mixed with it. It will not be clear tho if it is it is not mixed gas.

Here's an easy formula: Divide 40 into 128 (oz. in a gallon). You wind up with 3.2 oz of premium two cycle oil per gallon of gasoline.

As for color nearly every brand of oil is different. The following come in convenient 2.6 oz. plastic bottles for their 50/1 mix motors. Klotz is red, Amzoil is green, Stihl oil is bright green, Echo oil is gold, Husqvarna oil is blue.

All the above brands are really dependable good products and are avalable in larger containers for guy's who need to mix a 40 -1 ratio.
Truth be known your trimmer would live perfectly using any of these oils mixed in their intended 50-1 mix ratios. These oils are so improved they are much better than the origional oil sold at the time you bought your trimmer.

Blue you mix 40:1 oil 40 parts oil 1 part gas.

Blue, Red, Gold... but I'm not sure of the percentages of synthetic is in the different colors...
