After it expires, will i have to go through the process all over again to get it, like do the written test? Im 20 years old. Or can i jus renew it because im taking my driving test next tuesday (12/18) and if i fail, the next appointment is gonna be on january

If you fail (and that is the wrong way to look at it, I think you will pass, and make this question academic) you can renew your permit before it expires and you will not have to retake the written test!

You can renew the permit as many times as you need. Trust me...I was so scared to take my test that I kept putting it off.
