I have a 2007 Toyota Corolla CE and I have a feature where my lights automatically turn on at night or whenever I drive through dark areas. I checked MSN autos and it says that automatic lights are not a feature on my model but daytime running lights are. But aren't DRLs mandatory in the US? If anyone knows what this feature is actually called, it would help because I'm trading in my car and I want my new car to have the same type of lights.

I just recently hit a deer and the only car damaged was mine. I am covered under my policy b/cause I had comprehensive. Here's my question: Will my insurance premuims go up if I use the dealership's auto body shop and not the insurance company's auto body shop? This is the first claim I have had with this company and I have been with them for over 7 years.

I have a 93 Camry SE, spoilers and all the extras -- but theres a crack in the headgasket and theyre saying like 1800-2200$ worth of repairs here -- the blue book value of the car is only $2000 since it has over 200k miles. But the repair dude is saying my car should last another 100k miles. Do you think its worth it to get the repair?

and while I am very excited, I am also very frustrated! I'm going car shopping next week and I'm on a $2000 bucks budget because of how high everyone says my insurance will be. First things first, what do I look for in a car? Everyone tells me I should look into getting a nice civic or corolla, but I don't know what to look for and what questions to ask. Help!

Also, how much should I expect car insurance to do me for? Everyone scares me with some of the prices they say. Which is the best and cheapest? Btw I am 21 and I live in NYC, if that matters at all.

i have a toyota rav4 with about 50k miles on it. every time i turn it on, it makes this sound... like... change rattling around in a soup can. ok i got in a car accident a week ago i didnt know whos fault it was we exchanged information and agreed not to go to the police. a week later the person calls me and says pay 1000 dollars for my damage i was like omg my car dosnt have a scratch and a little dent on the other car. i told her im not paying anything its not my fault. she said she is going to call the police. Ok, so I have about $1900 left to pay on my car, and I absolutely hate my car and can't wait to get rid of it ... but I want to finish paying it off before I trade it in. Well, I went searching for a title last night (in my glovebox ... only place I could think of that I would have it ... silly I know) and came up empty. My grandmother and I got the car together (as in her name is on the car with mine ... I was only 19 when I got the car and had no credit, so we used her credit). Well my grandmother passed away a little over a year ago. So I assumed the title was somewhere in her files and stuff in her house. I mentioned it to someone who told me that my grandma wouldn't have the title. That I won't get a title until I finish paying off GMAC. Is that how it works?

With permission, I drove my uncle's car which is insured under his name. (My name is not on his insurance card.)
I got pulled over a month ago (no accident) and now I was scheduled for a court appearance because I filed "not guity".
At the time of getting pulled over, I couldn't find where my uncle put his insurance card, so the cop just gave me a ticket and told me to file "not guilty".

I am wondering what the consequence would be in the court. I have never been to any court and kind of nervous. All I can think about is this case and it is affecting my daily activities. Does anyone know what the penalty would be if i found guilty? Would my liscense be suspended??
I don't really care about getting fine now. I just want to get this over with. (should I get a lawyer?) I really appreciate your time. Thanks.

My heater core seems to be some what plugged. I get very little heat into the cab. I have had it to the dealer but they want to replace it. I feel that it is just plugging up. Have checked the heat of the engine and it is running correctly. I get good air flow through the system but not much heat. I do know that the last time I flushed the cooling system there was a lot of rust in it. This is what I think is causing the problem. I can't seem to be able to find where the hoses are that go from the engine to the heater core. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Well, i know i need at least one new tire for my car but i dont know how many i need exactly.

I am aware that there are 4 wheels on my car i just dont know which ones need replacing. I also dont know what type of tire i need. Its a lancer and its fairly small.

So if i walk in there in my short shorts and say "hi i need some new tires" are they likely to try and rip me off because i have no idea what the hell i need ??

What i want to know is, how much SHOULD it cost me, what kind of tire do i need and how long will they need my car for?
