Depends where you are at! In US 6 qts is 1.5 gal, elsewhere 6 qts are 1.20 gal.

US has 4 quarts in a gallon elsewhere they use the Imperial gallon that has five quarts. (always thought this should be fiths like liquor)

Why is the unhealthy one in the metric system and the healthy one in the American system? I would guess that Soda companies are smarter than water and milk companies. Just a thought.
