First - how many miles are you getting consistent with gallon of gas? 340 / 20 = 17 2nd - how many extra gallons is 25 than 20? 25-20=5 extra gallons 0.33 - how many extra miles are you able to force on 5 gallons of gas? 17 x 5 = eighty 5 miles final - what's the sum of 340 miles and eighty 5 miles? 340 + eighty 5= 425 miles

Every 20 miles you use.8 of a gallon in the car and 1 gal in the truck.

Gas is 2.50/gal so you can buy 90 gals of gas.

So you have 90 divided 1.8 that equals 50

50 times the 20 miles equals a 1000 miles.

good luck.

you can travel 2,250 miles.

so, you can travel 25 mi. per gallon of gas. you have 225 to spend, and gas costs 2.5 per gallon. so 225/2.5=90, so you get 90 gallons of gas. if you have 90 gallons of gas and can travel 25 miles per gallon of gas, you do 25*90=2250.
