There are so many different models and manufacturers out there, that it's actually confusing and also frightening to think that a person might buy one and then afterward not like it for some reason or other. I'd like to get a V8 that gets decent gas mileage and nothing smaller than a blazer sized one??? Help will be much appreciated!!

I was stopped at a red light at the time. He hit me going 80mph without even hesitating. (no skid marks) After his car came to a stop, he and his fifteen year old son fled. (the driver had head injuries and his son had a broken leg) He was later apprehended at the car owners residence with a blood-alcohol level of about 8 times the legal limit. The problem is that I don't have insurance but the owner has the car insured under her. The driver at the time gave a recorded deposition that he had permission to drive the car on a regular basis. However, the insurance company made an offer (not even close) and is now denying the claim based on the driver having proper permission.

Golf 3, 1993 model, diesel radiator fan not working. Now, with a light tester I conected the positve terminal of the battery to the Fan negative wire and i got light, I then connected the positive terminal of the thermoswitch socket to the negative therminal of the battery and i got light, I then bridge the thermo-switch connector red wire and the red/black wire and the fan turned ( I have changed the thermoswitch yet it did not work) I then bridge the thermo-switch connector wire to the red/white wire and i got a blown fuse. Again, when the fan turns it makes little squeaking sound and its turn couples of times freely and it will seize, when i turn the blade with my hand it was stiff as if its binding. I suspect the fan is bad and has broken the new thermo-switch; Doe any one have Idea what I am missing or needed to be done before I change the fan and thermo switch? and did the fuse blow as a result of wrong connection or its normal or the high speed system is causing the entire prob?

i was in a car accident last month and i had no insurance or no license. I was stopped at a red light in the left turn lane. The light turned green and i waited for the driver in front of me to go straight before i went left. As soon as the light turned green, he started heading straight for me. I was scared so i tried to move my car out of the way by turning the wheel to the right and hitting the gas. i still got hit in the drivers door. The cop came and gave him a ticket for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. His insurance company called me and said they were not going to pay for the damages, claiming that this was my fault because i was turning. However, it is impossible because of where the damages on the cars is. There was a witness who called 911 and gave her info, but left before the police got there. How do i resolve this situation?

I've had this issue before (see my other questions). I have a 2001 Xterra I swear has a windshield made of inferior glass. For years I've had two major problems: One, the wipers were always streaky, even when brand new. Two, the glass always (especially when wet) looked like it was greasy, or like a glass shower door. I first cleaned it off thoroughly with rubbing alcohol. Then I used bug/tar/grease remover. Then I bought new wiper blades. It seemed to do the trick
My problem is this: Although the wipers now wipe streak-free, after a rainstorm my windshield looks like that old shower door. It doesn't clean with the wipers. It only goes away when the windshield is totally dry.
Now I think that the crap on there is improved since the rubbing alcohol and bug/tar remover. However, that stuff I used could eat through steel, so I don't know if this is an issue of stuff on the surface. Could it be the surface of the glass itself is bad? What can I do?

I've read some site say 55 or 60mph. What about 40, 45, and 50? What is the real phyics behind this? I was thinking that driving at the lowest speed in the highest gear (automatic transmission) is most efficient.
