There are so many different models and manufacturers out there, that it's actually confusing and also frightening to think that a person might buy one and then afterward not like it for some reason or other. I'd like to get a V8 that gets decent gas mileage and nothing smaller than a blazer sized one??? Help will be much appreciated!!

I would recommend the V6 Toyota 4Runner. It actually has more HP and is faster than the V8 version, it just lacks a little bit on torque so if you need to tow something really really having, then get the V8, but if not the V6 is a great engine that gets even better fuel economy.
I would also recommend the Acura MDX and Honda Pilot but not sure about the V8 thing, which is totally unneccesary if you don't have to tow something that is like 10K lbs or more. The V6's are usaully peppier, and a lot better on gas, and still offer a ton of performance.
If you need V8 for towing, get a Suburban or Yukon XL. If you want if for speed then get a Porsche Cayenne S. IF neither arre necessities, check out what Honda, Acura, Toyota, and Lexus have to offer.

Buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I LOVE mine, it does wonderful in the snow/mud/rain, has AWD and gets pretty decent gas mileage. Plus it looks pimp for the ladies. :)
But seriously, its a really cool thing to be able to pass all the other 4wd's when they get stuck on a hill in the snow and I drive by with no problem at all.

Try these Auto.Manu.

Chevrolet
Ford
Nissan
Toyota
Volvo
Jeep

Those are just a few, with V8's. If it is 2-3 years old, you should be able to find them for under 25k.

Good luck shopping
