I'm working on a gokart. the chain keeps popping off. where is the best place to get pulleys cheap.?

13 hp engine. 23" tall tires. comet 400 series torque converter. the kart is heavy maybe 150 or 200 lbs. the jack shaft twist and the chain pops.
so I want to use belt. how big of a belt will I need . maybe double half inch.?
