For the past two times i've driven the car, the battery light turns on (when you start it) and it would take FIVE minutes until it turns off. Once it is turned off, I have full power (radio, lights, everything).

What's wrong with my car? Is it the battery? Alternator? What?

I plan on selling it within a week. How badly is this going to affect the amount the car will depreciate and lose value by? HELP!!

Automobile-paint is more expensive than house-paint. I want to know if I could thin the house paint enough to run it through my paint gun and then apply automobile clear-coat afterwards. Will this work?

I need to transport my vehicle from Los Angeles to Chicago. I need the transit time to be approximately 2 weeks or less. The cheapest way by far is Terminal to Terminal transport, but I've heard from the companies that do Door-to-Door transport, that it takes 2 months to get your vehicle and that they won't cover any damage to your vehicle, etc. Does anyone know anything about Terminal to Terminal transport from PERSONAL experience, rather than a sales person trying to tell me to use their service instead of terminal-to-terminal?

my new car is leaking out water from underneath everytime i turn it off. i suspect that it's from the air conditioner. is this normal? or do i need to have it fixed? several people told me that this is because the car is new and the ac unit is still really strong and brand new that's why everytime i turn it on,it's on full blast, thus causing the water leaking out. help!

if you had and drove an old car with no alarm on it, what is the most valueable item you would lock in the glove compartment? how much would it be worth? of course no one is going to say jewelry, but what about expensive cell phones? laptops, other electrical devices? in my case, i keep an item worth 500 dollars in my glove box in my car with no alarm. it is a handgun, now i want some opinions whether this is smart or not? i understand that losing this could get me into trouble, but is it really worth it to not have it in there? would you guys put or lock something with that value in your car?

A family member paid in full for a vehicle in Missouri on July 6. The temporary permit expires Monday August 6. Despite contacting the dealership multiple times, this relative still does not have a copy of the vehicle title. The last time this relative contacted the dealership, the employees hung up on her. If she does not have the title by Monday, she can be charged a very high late fee when she goes to register the vehicle. What can she legally do in this situation?

I have a 93' Mazda MX-6 LS It's a V6 with an automatic transmission. The car will stall on a turn for the most part & also when starting from a stop. Also about 3 times an hour it will die for no apparent reason but usually only when its already come to a stop. When the car "dies" the battery light comes on as well the oil light, & the check engine light. The battery meter is showing that the voltage is where it should be.....& the oil is also where it should be. I know not what to do or what to expect so before i head to a mechanic i just wanted to know if anyone has had this problem before, what it is/was, and about how much it cost to fix.

Thanks to all that responded to my first question. I went and bought a refill kit and a rubber and o-ring sealant made by HC Refrigerant. Shortly after I attached/filled from the first can my compressor stopped cycling and cold air returned to my interior. I also added the leak stopper so I will just have to wait and see what happens.
