I have a 93' Mazda MX-6 LS It's a V6 with an automatic transmission. The car will stall on a turn for the most part & also when starting from a stop. Also about 3 times an hour it will die for no apparent reason but usually only when its already come to a stop. When the car "dies" the battery light comes on as well the oil light, & the check engine light. The battery meter is showing that the voltage is where it should be.....& the oil is also where it should be. I know not what to do or what to expect so before i head to a mechanic i just wanted to know if anyone has had this problem before, what it is/was, and about how much it cost to fix.

2 things I would look for. Bad torque converter lock up solenoid. and a Bad ground. To check the converter just disconnect the connector on the transmission. Your car won't shift into overdrive thus your mileage will drop but it will get you by until you can get it fixed. The ground will look corroded.
Good luck.

I would get an air flow sensor from a junk yard and I would install it myself. Here in the US it would cost round $25 and the sensor is located between the air filter and the throttle body...easy to replace.
I think that is your problem.
Good luck

the lights coming on are normal but the dieing issue isnt, it a tough one......there are so many things that could cause this problem trying to type them all in here is impossible. if its that bad a good mechanic should be able to locate the problem early on.....
