I am aware of specific maintenance requirements & I am also required to inform new owners about these requirements.
But I am not a technician & neither are the new owners that I need to talk to.

What I need to explain (in simple terminology, no tech talk ) is this :
"Fuel-water separator should be drained monthly to avoid possible water in the fuel injectectors"

(quote copied from:2008 Ford dealer esource book, maintenance, 6.4 liter diesel)

Can/would you tell me (or describe to me) how to show or explain this maintenance to a novice or new owner ?

the results were incredible.however the process seems to have stiffened the mohaire fabric, with the result that when i try to lower the hood, sometimes the mechanism stops, probably due to some type of safety system finding resistence.any advice/help please

Someone hit the back of my car and put a crack in the bumper & minor dent in the tailgate. The assesor says it purely cosmetic and can be fixed if I choose to live with the dented tail (you'd never notice it!) & get a new bumper. Or, I can choose to have it classed as a total loss & they will give me some money. The car is valued at £850. So, how much are they likely to give me? What are the implications of this? Do I need to get a new MOT. Will some companies refuse to insure it, or charge me more???

I,ve put my Wranglers on and my mate Paul shows up in his Mustang that he's made into a convertable himself. Because its not supposed to be a soft top, he legalised it by wielding the doors to the body and making the only way in over the top.
He had it in a friends garage from January untill this morning, perfecting what they called the perfect pearlescence paint job, ~ and it did look ζħäŧ good before I Starskyed over to my side.
It's down to the metal as they say in crome mags.

Seriously, in this day in age, how can someone possibly justify buying a large truck (Except if they REALLY need one for work...)? Is it the power they feel? Is it the fact that they don't want their children to understand or enjoy gasoline? is it because they just don't give a f***? What's the deal? I would be embarrassed to drive some huge truck home. It would be like saying, "Hey guys, look at me!! I have no concept of what is happening in the world right now!! I'm a jack-***!! Hooray!!"

My husband has a car that has not been driven or registered in years. Do we have to pay full reg fees, or is there a way to relinquish it to the DMV? Or sell through a lien sale to a willing party? It would be nice to donate it, but not sure if that is an option. Thank you.

I recently had my motorbike stolen. Then I recieved a letter for another company who state that they are dealing with the claim. The letter has a PO Box address but does not state a Registered Office or any such. There is just an expensive telephone number. Anyone able to help? Thank you.
