I recently had my motorbike stolen. Then I recieved a letter for another company who state that they are dealing with the claim. The letter has a PO Box address but does not state a Registered Office or any such. There is just an expensive telephone number. Anyone able to help? Thank you.

There is no law requiring a return address. If they choose to print one, a PO box is perfectly fine. Many companies use them for security and convenience purposes. Some process mail at different places and the mail gets sorted after being picked up from the PO.

Contact YOUR insurance company to find out who the 'new' people are and what they are doing for you.

Using a PO box is accepted practices. Generally it is to discourage walk in, when the business is small (ie: Consultant) or to provide security or confidentiality.

Sounds like you need to keep dealing with your insurance company and let them deal with the consultant... that's what you paid THEM for.
