in case you purely % to locate the place you're and the place your going,i might think of any might suffice. i in my view have a Garmin GPS V and it works for me. Now in case you like a larger reveal, shade, audio instructions, and so on., then you rather will ought to step as much as a greater costly style. yet my GPS V gets me from factor A to B. perhaps others who've had quite a few fashions can voice an opinion as to which one is greater suitable on your use. Mine is a splash sluggish in corrections if I pass over a turn yet i think of that's in the device fairly than make/style of the GPS. Altho' I even have been nicely-known to be incorrect (ask my ex.) the better shade displays are effective tho' and the verbal guidelines are a effective thank you to bypass in case you % to maintain a watch on the line greater.

That's a tough one. I don't know of ANY unit (Garmin, Trimble, Magellan, Tom Tom or others) that can selectively determine a route based on the capabilities of a car/truck.

My best suggestion is to go to their respective web sites, and then get their customer service phone numbers so you can ask them directly. The ones I listed are the big 4.. other companies offer units, but usually they are derivatives of the these.

good luck

Driver,
no matter what device you use, you will need to still check for clearance and bridge wts. If you have a question call the state police from each state. It's in the front of the Motor Carrier Atlas. Technology is not going to be accurate BUT after you pick up, it could help with planning.
