I had my car in the shop. When I Took it in it was at 500 RPM's at idle. Now it is at 1000, and it is drinking gas like it has a straw. I need to know if I need to take it back to the shop. Thanks

i changed the motor in the fan and then i checked all the fuses , i dont know whut else it could be, also when i turn my a/c on the compressor kicks on and then off again, its fine when i drive but when im idle it does that.. please any help would be app...

Question about buying a used lemon from a dealer in pennsylvania? only owned 4 days, put less then 50 miles? HELP!
my sister bought a car from Brick's auto sales in Quakertown Pennsylvania. She has had the car 4 days, and only put 50 miles on it, and the transmission went. After doing a little research online, lemon laws only apply to new cars. There was no warranty purchased with the car (it's an older model, and it was $1500), is there any type of law that protects the consumer if the dealer refuses to refund her money? any help would be really appreciated thank you!

so i was looking for a car loan.. i was thinking about just getting a loan of about 1/3 of the car just to down pay then finance it and just pay for the little loan and finance monthly. Or should i just get a car loan to pay for the whole car and just pay the loan monthly. And ive had this one job for only about a month, u think theyll let me get a loan in only a month ?

it looks like my radiator is leaking but i'm not sure. I have a 1990 buick lesabre. I just had the mechanic replace the water pump and cap (because cap didn't have seal). But i noticed today the fluid was still leaking. it leaks on the bottom right side (where the hose meets the radiator). but i also notice that there's remnants of fluid from the top where the cap is. but i think that was from before he replaced the cap.

Anyway, I don't know what to say to him when I bring it to him tomorrow. the "service engine soon" light comes on when i'm going over 60 on the interstate. help!! I already paid $464. I can't afford more. He said the radiator looked good though when i picked up the car yesterday. Help!!!!

lets say i buy a 2001 or 2002 BMW 325i.

Ive heard differing opinions, either yes change it it improves the life of your car, or dont change it it actually speeds up the decline of your transmission. I hav a 97 chevrolet cavalier, and as far as I know its never been changed. The fluid is reddish but seems to be dirty there is some muddy consistency to some of it. What should I do?

I have been told the Ford 289 will rev higher then other small block Ford V8's. Mine is a rebuilt 1967 289 with a hydrolic race cam, 30 over 11 to 1 pistons, Moly rings, alum. rods and a cast crank. Heads are stock castings , ported with a three angle valve job, duel springs, heavy duty retainers, roller rockers & stud girdles, moly push rods and guide plates.
