Where is the IAT sensor on an '03 Hyundai Accent?

Mine isn't on the black hose or at the end of it.

The Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IAT) should be at the throttle body end of the black air bellows (large black tube) that goes from your air filter housing at the front of the engine compartment to the throttle body on the engine It is usually a flat black retecangular plastic housing that is held on by two cap screws and it should have a two or three wire weathertight connector going to the sensor. Just follow the big black tube back to the engine and you should find the sensor, either on top or on either side of the bellows.

Look on the air filter hose

right behind the air filter in the hose itself. should be the closest plug to the air filter. click url in the source it has a picture.
