I would say a Cobalt is a chic car only because of its lack of real performance, 0-60 6.4 seconds(yawn) .. and that is the good version.. If you over inflate the tires and take the front bumper off you will have the fastest Cobalt in town(note heavy sarcasm). .. First off real men drive Rear wheel drive V8's ei the Camaro, Firebird,Mustang, Corvette. A Cobalt is a grocery getter that you would buy your wife or daughter. and for the majority of Cobalt SS owners they probably listen to bands like Erasure, Depeche Mode and Frankie goes to Hollywood(you smell what i am stepping in) They probably drive the car to the tanning salon and maybe to Starbucks to get a vanilla latte. This also applies to its sister the Redline..

There's only a few vehicles made with gender in mind and the Cobalt isn't one of them. When I sold Chevy's, I had quite a few male customers (young and old) purchase that car. It's a great car for budget conscious people and at the prices of gas, it's a very smart buy. If you like the car and it fits your budget, I say, go for it. If someone has some ignorant comment about your purchase, tell them if they help you finance the expenses of the vehicle of their choice, you'll be more than happy to buy it.

Answer no.More men than woman buy colbalts.Most are between 22 to 40 years old.Lots of people buy this car for family drivers.Good MPG and the 100.000 gm warrenty.The SS colbalt has been over 90% men between 19 to 25 years old.Taken from the sales staff of my dealership.
