Does anyone know how to get it closed? My son took it to the dealer and the couldn't close it either (maybe they were in a hurry!)

It started a few weeks ago and I can't figure it out. I start my car up and I put my A/C on and it makes this grinding/wooshing sound for about 10 minutes. Then, I start driving and I can hear a high pitched squealing/whistling sound. But, I don't think its the brakes because I have no problem stopping or slowing down. And the sound seems to go away when I hit the gas, but the rest of the time it squeals. I don't want to have to take it to shop if I can replace it myself hopefully you guys can help!! Thanks!

i mainly want to know when it was in your Pontiac grand prix

im bou to buy a 97 grand prix gt 4dr... rebuilt engine with 60,000 miles on it, and the car/transmission has 170,000 miles on it i test drove it and 3700rpms when i rev up it start to shake the car just a little then past 4000 it shakes lil more like its spose too do you think its all good to buy it???? im gettin it for 2600, cuz he is movin out of state and needs to sell it by tommarrow....... he listed it for 3500 he did a major tune up....alot of things
the guy works at bell tire..... do they do free vehicle inspections??? should he? since hes sellin it there and stuff.



how long will the car last me.... (when maintained right!!!like a car should be) when do you think the transmission will go bad????

My trailblazer 2002 started to shake from day to another i didnt have a problem with it before. what does that mean they put the machine and said code p1345 to take it to the dealership. can some other mecanic handle the problem instead of taking it to the dealership?

My grandfather recently gave me his old motorcycle. It's not running, and needs parts, but I'm not sure of the year of the bike. It's a 1970's Honda CB 400 FOUR Super Sport, but I need to find the exact year. I have an '05 Honda Four Wheeler and it has badging on the frame, but I haven't found badging on the bike.

My nephew was in a horrendous motorcycle accident two days ago. He broke three vertebrae in his neck, shattered his right leg, broke his right arm and had the back of his head ripped open even though he was wearing a brand new helmet. He will be in the hospital for months and still faces the possibility of being paralized. I've been riding bikes for over 30 years. Maybe it's time to stop.

Yes so this 97 Maxima just WONT turn....all i get is 1 or 2 "clicks", and thats pretty much it..... (It has been dormant for 3yrs, but the Battery is next-to-new)....however:

- The radio comes on
- The power windows work perfect
- the interior lights are A-OK
- the Hud-Panel lights up nicely
- A/C-----> GOOD!

SO bascially what i am saying is: the car's features are fully-operational, but the engine just WONT TURN or "The lights are on, but nobody is home!!" lol.....

Also - The car does in fact have an Alarm System, and many other people put there say that this in fact could also be a prime suspect......any ideas

I know where all the fluid tanks are, the spark plugs, filters, belts...you know the basics. I'm interested in vehicle tuning and customization. I dont mind having a professional fix up my vehicle but I really would like to learn more about autos and there is no automotive school where I live. Any help?

recently my oil gauge went thru the roof. The gauge pointer looks as if it could spin multiple times around if not for the stopper. They say I have to pay for the diagnostic before they do anything and it might not be covered because it could be an oil line what should I do?

Before pulling the boat out , one side of the trailer lights were hanging down and broken. The other side was working good. Went to store for a new bulb and the lights still do not work. Need to fix this cause I have a oil leak on the outdrive.
