what would you pay for a 2001 saturn with 105,000 miles and a brand new radio.(flip down) in good condition(no dints or noticable damage. few minor scratches that you cant see unless you press your face practically on it.) ? im just wondering...

New battery, new alternator (14 to 15 volts), new belt with good tension and good connections to battery. After jump starting the battery the dash will go out after about five minutes. the car will not stay running with battery disconnected?

It looks like the anti-theft system on these cars is built in to the radio. What do you lose when you replace the radio? Do you risk immobilzing the car? Do the remote door locks not work? Is there a stereo to look for that can use the steering wheel audio controls? Are there additional complications if the factory stereo has the 6-disc CD changer?

My dream has always been wanting to be an airline pilot since i was 5 years old. I was born in the middle east but lived in america since i was 6 years old, i am now 24. Do you think the US will allow me to become a commercial air line pilot even though I was born in the middle east? I feel discouraged because of all the events that's going on.

I have a 1992 Ford F150. I was told that if you pull the + cable off of the battery when it is running, and it dies your alternator is bad, because if it is good it should still run. Can anyone tell me if this is true

I been asking about this same question for the longest but this time I'm going to be more in depth. I have a 93 jeep cherokee laredo and it has about 184,425 miles (a lot i know) 6cyl 4.0lt . I was driving it and it was fine then it started to act funny. when I was at a stop light it would go until like a few seconds after ( wouldn't acclerate). I then found out when I stopped the car to park and wait for my friend while the car was on it was acclerating by itself. Then I found a leak from the front of the jeep. Now it only goes in reverse, so one told me to put more fluid and I did that and it started to smell like something is burning. I think my husband might of put too much fluid. Anyways, I scared to drive it , but got enough courage to try and it went forward for a minute(because I was on little hill probably)and then eventually would go just ONLY in reverse. SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just bought a used gs500e...on my first weekend it was fine, but this weekend it kept stalling out. so i ran with the choke slightly on, and later increased the idle to 1k. was ok for a while, but than started stalling again. now i am set to 1.3k idle. should i get it checked out, or is it normal?

I was changing the timing belt on a 1997 Nissan Pathfinder. Like an idiot I attempted to tighten the cam sproket, with an impact wrench (after changing the cam seals). Now the cam sproket has moved like six teeth forward. What are the options heafter? Have I bent valves? I took off the valve cover (Passenger side) and ther was crud galore in there. Any Advise is appreciated. Thanks.

how much do you think it will cost if i pull the engine out my self and take it to some one to rebuild it. its a 4.2L inline 6 258 engine. i would just rebuild it myself but i dont have any time to do so nor room to do the work. so about how much would i pay to have this thing rebuilt?

I want to install (not by myself, but have it installed professionally) a new car audio system in my new (used) car with Manufacturer warranty. I have heard in the past that this could be a nightmare if the installer messes up something. I have also heard that it can also affect the other electric components of the car if it is not done properly. My question does this affect my Manufacturer's warranty??

i used goo-gone to get rid of some glue on my car, now while i was taking it off it was leaking down the sides. i finished taking off the glue, and then washed it off with water and soap, then rinsed, now the whole side of my car has white pale marks like drips that wont wash off, is my paint job messed up, or do i need some sort of product to get rid of that?
