I found the best thing since sliced bread...http://www.crutchfield.com/S-9oDEWuNVIo6/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?i=142FMMOD01

It's not wireless so there's no chance for interference. It basically adds an AUX port to ANY radio.

It feeds your audio signal from a headphone jack ( or RCA cables) by FM modulation, directly into the antenna input on your radio bypassing the antenna when on, allowing the radio to work as normal when off.

This IS the answer. Totally versatile.

Someone gave Duce a thumb down, but I think he means that it's necessary to create a data CD that contains mp3 files for the disc player to play the files.

I have a portable CD player that plays mp3's, and I can put a lot of them on one CD since they're smaller than CD digital audio files or wave files. I especially enjoy putting 100+ songs on one and activating the shuffle/random play feature.

you have to buy a cable for the back of the reciever. Every brand has a different cable. They are usually about $30-50.

don't use an fm modulator, b/c they sound horrible.

The MP3's must be on CD, he will need an FM modulator if he wants to connect his Ipod
