what would happen if I put rubbing alcohol on a car's paint? cuz i have a dent removal kit where i have to use it to take the glue off?

Do I have to pay if the gate is open? And what happens if I don't? I am new to this stuff and there is no info what to do if it's open. I have always thought that you have to pay to open the gate, but now I am confused. It happened to me twice - both late in the evening (about 9-10 pm.) Thanks for info.

I have a 2000 Ford Explorer (V6 Vin X). The AC has not been working so I thought maybe it could be a quick recharge of R134. Recharged and the compressor clicked on, but then shuts off within 2 seconds. Does the every 10 secs or so...does this mean the compressor is bad or is it supposed to do that?

i recently purchased a 1996 mustang and the owners manual is missing. the cigarette lighter and accessory outlets are dead, i checked for power at the plug and have none but i cant find ablown fuse and the fuse cover says '' see owners manual for fuse location''. any idea where they are and if they are even the same fuse?

I just sold my car but the buyer could only get $500 cash since it's a holiday and will be bringing the additional money on Thursday when he gets back from vacation. I have possession of the car until he gets back but I wondering since a Bill of Sale was given can they change their mind and I have to give the money back? I don't want to assume I have the money and pay on my new car loan and they turn around and say they don't want it. I sold car As Is for $800 so they paid over half for the car but it has an oil leak, that they are aware of, and I'm concerned if for some reason that car doesn't start when they pick it up they can try and get money back too since it stated on Bill of Sale, As Is. This is the first time I've sold my car and not quite sure how it all works. I guess I wouldn't be concerned if they paid for it in full today and drove it off. Thanks

It's a 98 Suzuki GSX600F. When I go through the start-up sequence, the lights come on but it doesn't turn over. I let it sit for about 2 months without starting it (warm weather). I got a new battery and all the lights, the horn, and carb fan work when I turn the ignition to "on". The fuel is fresh, the starter relay clicks when tested. Last time I let it sit for a while, I'd push the starter button and it'd lag for a couple seconds before turning over. Any ideas? Your help is greatly appreciated.

It has done 43000 miles, i bought it 6 weeks ago. It runs great but makes a horrible knocking noise that i can also feel through the bars. I dont know when it last had an oil change or if that would make a difference. I know the timing chain makes a noise on these bikes. Should i ignore it or get it sorted? Minimal funds means i cant get a complete overhaul on the engine. Any help would be gratefully received.

how is fuel mixture on a 2 stroke engine calculated? is 25-1. 25 parts fuel to 1 part oil. Or is it 25ml of oil to 1 litre of petrol?
