I know the steering wheel radio controls will not work, but is there anything else??

I changed my 2000 radio out and the only thing not working is the steering wheel controls. I changed out the front speakers also. The rear need to be changed but I haven't yet. The bass really causes them to resonate.
You might start with the speakers unless you really want features of a new radio. Then you should probably plan on speakers also, because the stock are not good.

If it's done properly everything will work just like before.

they make installation kits that has everything that will keep everything operation properly
