i recently purchased a 1996 mustang and the owners manual is missing. the cigarette lighter and accessory outlets are dead, i checked for power at the plug and have none but i cant find ablown fuse and the fuse cover says '' see owners manual for fuse location''. any idea where they are and if they are even the same fuse?

The fuse that you are looking for is fuse # 6 on the bottom row in the engine compartment fuse block (6th one over on the bottom from the left side) It is a 30 amp fuse. It should have a 20 amp fuse on the right side and a silver circuit breaker on the right side of it if you have a convertable, or a empty socket if you have a hard top.
The bottom is opposite the large black relays, but I forget what rotation it is installed the engine compartment.

i own a restore shop,and in case you have the proprietors handbook,for this vehicle,,you are able to look in it,,it tells the place it fairly is,,and what length it is likewise,,i continuously use the handbook whilst doing this if achievable,,stable success,i desire this help,s.
