If you're looking for a better ride and more horsepower try a Chevrolet Trailblazer. It's got both categories head and shoulders over a Honda.

Always remember that the big three auto makers parts are 30 - 50% less expensive than offshore parts. Replacements are built by many manufactures here in America. When the warranty is gone on a foreign auto manufacture car replacement parts are outrageously expensive and in most cases must be purchased at the dealer parts counter. Price a transmission or an engine for a Honda. Compare to a Chevy.

For instance: Check on line what a starter and or alternator costs for the Honda. Do the same for the Chevy.

Case closed.

I love my Honda CRV. I have also talked to other owners, and they said that they would have a very hard time parting with theirs. They get great gas mileage, have quite a bit of room for the size car, and have just enough power that it doesn't guzzle the gas, but it gets me around on the highway. If you are looking for something bigger, try the pilot, but that would probably have to be used.
