Currently nobody has been able to hold a candle to kawasaki's V-twin utility ATV's and kawasaki also built a sport quad around the same engine called the kfx 700 vforce. However if your looking for a standard 450 sport machine I'd have to lean towards Honda since kawasaki doesn't even have a proven 450 out yet.

Not really, i have both a Honda 400ex and a Kawasaki KFX400 and the Kawasaki is like way more powerful and faster but the 400ex seems to be more of a comfortable ride to me.

If you're wanting a sport quad for speed, buy a Yamaha. For comfort Honda. If you want to spend alot of money, a Suzuki. If you aren't wanting a sport quad, this is irrelevent. But for a sport quad, yzf450 is THE quad.

They're about equal.
Depending on the model and size of the quads, some
out-exceed the other.
