Hi. I have a 2003 sea doo jet boat. just before the season closed, I took the boat on a river (fox river in IL). I didn't know how shallow it is, but there were other boats on it. Then it became really shollow, and I was going like 20-30 mph, and suddenly i stopped. I got out and the water was below my knee. Now I'm scared that I damaged the impeller since it collected everything on the waterbed. It started fine, but I scrached the boat pretty bad. Also the intake is grill is kinda twisted and scratched. But still don't know if the impeller is damaged. I took it the next weekend on the lake (lake michigan) and worked fine, perfectly, I was able to reach speeds of 50 mph. But before It used to go a little faster, above 55. Now i'm waiting for the season to open, so I can see if it works fine. But if its damaged, how much does it typically cost to fix it, at the sea doo dealer. Thanks a lot

Is Jet Fuel carcinogenic? I heard that it can cause cancer? Is this true? Because if a plane dumps fuel at a low altttitude in an extrmeme emergency, will the people outdoors under the aircraft get cancer? And how about the people who re-fuel the airplanes?

I am looking to change my car this year for a new one. I currently have a City Rover Solo on a '54' plate. I drive around 20,000 miles per year and need a very reliable car for work reasons so would prefer to have at least a three year warrenty. I need to know what car is best on petrol or diesel use, tax and insurance while still being very reliable. I also want the best buying price I can get. What do you suggest?

I have a Ford Galaxy 1996, It starts shuddering when accelerating, when the clutch is fully up, when I dip the clutch it stops shuddering. Could this be the clutch or thrust bearings and roughly how much would this cost to repair? Appreciate any answers given.

I've started the process of buying a new car. The first car I'm looking at is the Chevy Impala. The dealership is a no haggle place.

The MSRP is $24,800 including destination charges for the model and options I'm looking at. The dealership's no haggle price is $23,738. Both Edmunds.com and the dealership show me that the quoted no haggle price is $560 over dealer invoice.

There is also a mfr. rebate of $1,500 that I will get to.

$560 over dealer invoice sounds like a good deal. What do you think? Edmunds said the average selling price would be about $90 more.

This car is being bought around the San Jose, CA area.

Seen these things on TV and films...

Looking like sets of yellow dusbins filled with water... often infront of the splitter barriers forming acceleration or deceleration lanes or other obsticles on their freeway/motorways... so if a car hits them the car is not smashed as it would be if in hit a concrete wedge so if whereing a seat belt you should live. as the water bins absorb the impact.

Why dont we have such things in the UK ans wat other countires have these?

Please describe thoroughly what to do in each of these situations.

1) A tire goes flat. Describe both a front and a rear flat since each is different.

2) You are going down a hill and your brakes don't work.

3) Your gas pedal sticks and your car goes faster and faster.

4) Your hood flies open, blocking your vision.

5) Your headlights suddenly go out.

6) You are moving in traffic and your engine stalls out.

7) A red dashboard light comes on or a buzzer starts.

8) A car comes at you head on in your travel lane.

9) You are blinded by someone's high beams.

10) At an intersection, another car crosses in front of you.

11) Your tires drop onto a low or unpaved shoulder.

12) You come to an unexpected curve in the road.

13) Your windsheild is suddenly covered by snow, rain, interior fog, or sun.

Thank you, I really appreciate it!
