You can add fluff to a cruiser and make it as expensive as you want, but a limited to 400 run of Ducati Desmosedici RR bikes was produced that are priced around $65,000. the other caveat is that to own one you must already own a 999R, which would have cost you about $32,000 new.
Besides, the Ducati can go faster in first gear than the Harley can top out at.

particular, they seem to be most of the dearer motorcycles you will locate. even nevertheless you get what you pay for. in case you're taking a competent truthful seem at a Harley you will see that that's over engineered. What I recommend via that's that the aspects on the motorcycle are engineered to be a lot greater than they might desire to be. This enables cause them to final as long as they do. it is not uncommon right here to make certain highway worth Harley motorcycles from the 50's and 60's nevertheless used as each and daily drivers. There are even nevertheless numerous 70's nevertheless on the line. The 70's motorcycles have been from the dismal AMF years that had the undesirable attractiveness for high quality. you do no longer see very most of the throw away motorcycles type the jap makes from those years nevertheless on the line. i think of this says plenty bearing directly to the huge-unfold whilst comparing the Harley against the jap makes. so which you get what you pay for. in case you like a low fee throw away motorcycle which would be a POS in 10 or 15 years, purchase a jap motorcycle. in case you elect for something which will final a protracted time, pay the added money and purchase a Harley Davidson.

I've known of people who owned Buells and Ducatis. It really depends on which Ducati you're looking to buy. A friend of mine owns a Ducati 999R, and he claims that he spend nearly $30,000 on it. This man does make a great living, and sometimes seems to have more money than sense... so it's likely true.
I'm not personally fond of V-twins, but if I were going to go with a V-twin sport bike, it would probably be a Ducati.

Harley doesn't make a street bike. Unless you mean Buell, then it's a toss-up. Ducks are cheaper in the long run, since any maintainance can be done by yourself, or fairly inexpensively by a shop. Buells have gas in frame and all sorts of wierd stuff, so if something goes wrong, be prepared to pay. A lot. However, if you're racing stock for cash, the Buell will win every time. Either way, if cost is an issue, go Japanese.

They both have internet web sites. You should be able to search for the price there.
I don't understand why some one would want to know which one is more expensive so do your own research.
