Alpine 9847r Car Stereo?

Hi, does anybody know how to connect an mp3 player to a 9847r Alpine car stereo, now ive tried many things but i need someone who actually owns this stereo for the answer. 10 pts to whoever helps me out. Thanks.

Purchase this adapter: http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/products/product_acc.php?model=KCA-121B unless you have an iPod, in which case you'd look for this adapter http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/products/product_acc.php?model=KCA-420i if you'd like to control and display the iPod through the head unit's faceplate.
