Does it really matter if you put synthetic oil in your engine? Also will you harm your engine if you switch from regular to synthetic and then back to regular oil?

new power steering pump ..new pressure hose to pump...but it leaks by the front drivers side tire..i was told this is the rack and pinion leaking..no power steering at all right now..ive tried the lucas sealants and it doesnt work...any one have a price range on what this cost to replace..i see auto zone has them for like 69-89 dollars??

I have been car hunting and the salesmen treat me like an idiot. When I was married, the hard part was the negotiation. Now that I am single there is no negotiation - the salesmen arent cutting me any deals at all! Even when I tell them thats the problem, they still dont offer me any money off their prices.

I know which car I want, have good credit and a good down payment. I wont argue to try and get a few hundred bucks off, I'll walk away from them because its obvious that they dont want to treat me the same as the couples I have spoken with that have purchased the same vehicle that I am looking at.

Any advice for handling these salesmen? so far honesty doesnt seem to work! thanks much for any pointers you may have for me

I had my permit for 2 years and it expired and i was wondering if i can take the test for a drivers liscense if im 18 without it in illinois.Also if i had to get a new permit would i have to have it for 3 months before i could take the test because i had 1 for 2 years until it expired.Thank you.

I think that whenever gas prices are high, airline tickets are high too, right? So if thats right then would it be smart to watch airline prices as well as prices of oil too? I just need to pay the least amount for a ticket as possible, and im wondering if this means anything.

it isnt the camshaft size or the intake or exhaust valves and we replace the vacuum advance on the side of the distributor, also used a smoke vacuum leak detection machine, no leaks in the intake anywhere, what could be the problem?

Milkiness is seen around the oil cap and at tip of dipstick.
Coolant level is constant so I don't believe there's a head gasket leak.

I have a 1998 Ford F-150. I would like to find a repair manual that has the entire vehicle expanded (it may be called "exploded"). I know mechanics used something like this years ago, but I can't find it now. A lot of repair manuals will show you how to change the oil and change filters. I want one that will show me how to take the door apart and fix the window assembly and how to put it back together. And other such detailed items. I have a Haynes and a Chiltons, but they don't have everything. I want everything.
