Milkiness is seen around the oil cap and at tip of dipstick.
Coolant level is constant so I don't believe there's a head gasket leak.

Yeah. Quit taking it on so many short trips. If you never run the engine long enough to burn off the condensation it will get like that.

some do, yet each and each of the Mercury Mountaineers in that year have the 5.0 L. On Explorers, the V8 became contained in the restricted version & the Eddie Bauer version. 81mustang is faulty. Ford in no way placed a 5.4L in an Explorer & they did not furnish the 4.6L in it until eventually the early 2000s.

hmmmm, that really sounds like a head gasket...... keep an eye on it.... double check the air filter and see if any oil is on it.... if it has oil on it then check your pcv valve.... if the valve is stuck that could be contributing to the issue

Your PCV or CCV is clogged, these are what allows the unburnt fuel vapors to escape the engine, replace thebad part and you will have no more problem.

Best of luck!

How about more oil changes?? Or extensive idling can cause this.Pcv valve will also cause this.It is no cause for alarm, have your pcv system checked & change oil regularly.
