I had whiplash injury after a crash, someone hit into my car. It lasted two weeks, and then got much better. I didn't see a doctor, because I couldn't get an appointment over thanksgiving. Also I just moved here and my medical insurance isn't though yet. I think I'm recovering fine now. But - what should I do for a medical claim from the insurance? Do they ususally offer compensation for this sort of thing? Do I still need to go to the doctor (which feels daft because I'm getting better), and I don't really want to shell out doctor fees (or take up doctors time) if I don't need to. What should I do to get some compensation? It did hurt so much!

Would this work? Would this have enough traction? I am planing to use it just for my driveway, nothing big - not as a professional plower :)
The truck I plan to buy is a Ford F150 2003 extended cab 2 wheel drive (not 4WD - which is why I am asking this question). I live in northwest Ohio (it's flat here) - we get snow, but we are not in a snow belt.

Also, do you know how this truck would handle in the snow (just on the road, without the plow)? Any previous experience (advice) would be appreciated.

Thanks.

My '88 Chevy Silverado is starting to five and dime me and I may need to look for a new vehicle. I prefer trucks over cars, but I got sick of spending around $70 to fill up my chevy and it got horrible gas mileage. I am thinking of buying a more economical vehicle like a car. I am not dirt poor, but I do not have a ton of money to spend on a vehicle. I was wondering if Saturn's are a good vehicle to own? If not can someone make a suggestion of a vehicle in the Saturn price range that gets descent gas mileage and is reliable as well.

i am a 41 yr old biker and agree with young bikers being limited for a few yrs. as its too easy to go find death on a 1000 cc when you are inexperienced. but why should young drivers be allowed to drive powerfull cars when they have just passed thier test as it is plain to see by the deaths on the road that they cannot handle them and mainly show off with a car full of mates. I think they should be limited to a little 1100 to start and progress up when they have gained the experience to handle a bigger car. mr blair hope you read this as it needs something doing

My mothers car is a Mercury Sable (I forget what year it is...96 perhaps...) and sometimes when she is driving it it will randomly start jerking and the speedometer bottoms out to zero or starts fluctuating really odd. However, when she takes it to the mechanic, it never acts up for him, so he cannot tell her what is wrong...does anybody have any idea?

My car was rearended; the person who bumped into me got a ticket and their insurance company are going to pay for the damage to my car. At first I thought I was OK, and the insurers said they would give me a cheque for $100 just because I was in a crash, and was not claiming medical expenses. But after five days, my neck began to hurt...and hurt...so much that I could hardly turn it. Over thanksgiving it was really painful. I haven't been to the doctors yet, as it was thanksgiving. It feels like muscular pain, and I think if I do go to a doctor it should be either an orthopaedic doctor or a chiropractor. Yet now, after a week of hurting an awful lot, my neck is feeling a lot better.
What should I do about the insurance? Do I ask for a payment (a bit more than $100 seems justified after all this), or do I wait and see a doctor? Or go to an attorney? If my neck now gets completely better, what is the best way to deal with the insurance? I can't tell now whether or not it will.

My Volvo 740GLE (1990) has a brake light problem. I tried changing the bulb until I realize the brake lights work fine when the headlight is turned on (night time) but it won't work during the day when the headlight is not on. The problem is only on one side too. The center brake light works fine both day and night. Is there a different fuse for day and night? I just don't get it. Thanks in advance for any help!

i lifted my car yesterday with the floor jack on the desiginated lifting point of my car, but i only used 1 jack on the rear left and rear right sides to change my tires one by one. ( i first did the right side, then i went on to the left, so the car wasnt evenly lifted up on both sides, or front and back)
is there a possibility that the frame could have been bent from the uneven lift?
im wondering this because my auto tech teacher says that the frame for honda's are more eaisily bent than other cars

i drive a 1991 honda accord
