Does anyone know where i can find a free wiring diagram for 1988 gmc jimmy? Please help looking to choose a best answer.

Go to autozone .com they should have it for free.

You don't say if you were able to start the truck again initially after it died, and if so, how it ran. If you didn't try to start it before you did all the work, did you check to make sure the timing belt didn't slip? There has to be a reason the truck died in the first place, and the symptoms you are describing as far as the stutter and dying when you try to accelerate sound like either a bad throttle position sensor or it's out of time. Bring the engine to top dead center (timing marks are lined up on the harmonic balancer and timing pointer) and check the location of your rotor. If it's not pointing at or near the number one plug wire, you have a lot more work ahead of you.

Chances of you obtaining a wiriang diagram for free are slim to none. Go to autozone or advance auto and purchase a Haynes repair manual for about $17.
