The Largest ship afloat as far as I know is an Ultra Large Crude Carrier (ULCC) called the Knock Nevis. It is 1505 ft long, 226ft wide, and weighs in at 563,763 dead weight tons. I am not sure who built it but believe it was built in Norway. In comparison, Titanic was 882 ft long, and weighed 66,000 DWT.
