NGK claims that they make THE world' best selling spark plugs, Is this true?

How many CHAMPION Spark Plug ads have you heard lately? Seems that NipponDenso and NGK have made a better plug. But in doing so most cars these days go 100,000 miles with out changing the spark plugs. I am one poor technician that would like to see 6,000 valve adjustments, Carburators 10,000 mile points and plugs tune ups.... NOT!!!

NGK makes the best spark plugs for Japanese cars and trucks
Bosch makes the best spark plugs for all German cars
Autolite makes the best spark plugs for fords
AC make the best spark plugs for Chevs

So stick with what ever the car manufacture recommends for that car you can't go wrong that way

It MAY be true, but that doesn't make it the BEST spark plug. It is good for some applications, and sucks for others.

hi there, no not all brands of plugs work great in all engines,

you should be using the plugs recommended by the car/engine manufacturer

this is for a reason

Not in my opinion. The're pretty good, but I still prefer Bosch.

Claims like that are advertising puff. Take them with a large grain of salt, or whatever.

they are a geat plug but as for the worlds best i dotn think they will ever be a worlds best in anything

i cant argue their claim but most import cars use them and imports have been selling pretty good everywhere. i wont use them in my vehicle

as far as best selling?they work great in all jap cars trucks and my own motorcycles yes they are great.
