To sell any vehicle legally in any state you have to have the title to prove ownership regardless of vehicle age, sorry.

A car cannot be sold without a title. It cant even be sold to a salvage yard without a title. Each time I have had to sell a vehicle to a salvage yard , it had to have a title. The salvage yard owner/operater has to send the title in to that state's DMV office certifying that it is a salvaged vehicle, That is done so that people cannot buy a car real cheap from a salvage yard and put it back on the highway. It literally takes a act of congress to put a salvaged vehicle back on the highway

You can't sell a car without title. If you lost it, you should look into requesting a replacement title with the DMV before you sell the car.

No such thing. You must have a title to sell a car, even to a salvage yard, regardless of its age.
You may be thinking of the odometer certification. That's not required for cars over 10 years old.

you can not sell a car no matter what the age without a title...unless it's being sold for parts or as junk..and in some states even the junk dealers require a title.

well back in the old days they didnt have titles so an old vehicle ( 20's 30's 40's and 50's ) without a title wouldnt be uncommon but anything newer NEEDS to have a title, most junk yards ( here in missouri) require them
