The Ford Focus is a good one. I just got one and it is awesome... this is also coming from a teenage girl's point of view. (I'm 16.) It's small enough to be able to manuver easily, but big enough for your friends to fit in. You can see out of it very well, too. Plus, it's a really cute little car as well. It's just a great car, I would consider checking it out. And brand new they are around $18,000... although mine is a 2005 and I have to pay half the bill every month... but if you're looking under $50,000 then I guess money isn't an issue.

I would reccomend something safe such as a Honda Accord Hybrid. It has great performance which will appeal to her, gets good Fuel Economy, and is one of the safest cars on the road. The image it projects much better than the Toyota Camry Hybrid which appears a bit more boring and doesn't handle as well.

Why would you want to spend that much money on a car since you are in your teenage years? Buy a less expensive car and invest the remainder of your money in something else. Like your college tuition fees.

Teach your teenager to buy the vehicle with thought.
what impact do you want to create?
Do you want to teach her to care about the environment?
Buy her a hybrid!
Its not always about what she wants, but what is right for the environment, her living sitution, is it for commuting to and from school? etc etc etc.
You could also try asking her what she likes...

it depends on really what the girl is into. i see that alot of girls like cars like the honda civic, mitsubishi eclipse, chevrolet cobalt or aveo, just look around youll find what you like. i would personally recomend the toyota prius though, its really great on gas mileage and looks good, and its only about 22,000 i believe.
