I have this problem in 2 different cars - a Ford KA and a Peugout 206. In the KA (2004), the drivers floor mat gets soaked after heavy rain. No windows are left open, there is no moisture on the dash or the seats, nor on the door anywhere. But the mat gets soaked. I've layed paper over it to see if it's dripping from under the steering column somewhere, but the paper is dry, and I can't feel any wetness under there. The windscreen fluid is definatly not leaking, or i'd have to refill it every few days, which I don't have to... There is no hole beneath the car for the water to get in through either. The seals on the windows seem fine and there's water in no other place...
Onto the Peugout (1996). The same thing happens to the rear passenger mat. Nowhere else in the car is wet apart from here. It's been in the garage and they suggested the seal on the boot was dodgy, but it's not; if it was then the shelf and seat would be wet.
Anyone have any idea where this water's coming from?
