actually i have this problem with my car. When i am driving it normal but when i stop it overheats. I was told that it one of the relays or a sensor on the bottom of radiator and it just needs replaced. I dont drive my car much so i didnt bother fixing it. But that might be it.

To be sure the thermostat is in properly the spring side is always faced down, besides if you havent replaced your radiator cap in a while might as well replace that too. A little trick to get your car to cool better is get a garden hose and hose off the entire radiator where the small thin fins are at. Those fins are what help cool the liquid.

that's OBD1, and could be difficult to be certain, even via the Acura techs. the codes are very generall. in maximum circumstances it extremely is the oxygen sensor, a clogged EGR, a failing catalitic converter, or an injector/spark issue
