Dude, there is LEGAL and then there is "gonna get hassled."
You already know the term, "DWB"? Driving While Black? Well, if you tint out the windows, I can assure you that you WILL be pulled over by every cop in the area.
My wife, age 42, bought a nice WV Jetta Wolfsburg (rear wing, nice rims, etc) a couple of years ago. She was pulled over at least once a week for bogus crap until we pulled the tint off of the front door windows (rear windows are okay I guess). I talked to my friends at the cop shop, and asked them if they were looking for a bad dude in a VW -- perhaps that's why she was being pulled over. They admitted that they pulled over little sporty cars with tinted windows all the time thinking that there was gonna be drugs involved.
I'm not saying it's right, or legal, or that you're doing anything wrong... just sayin that you're gonna meet every cop in the county.

If you are worried about that so much you should go to your local police station with some questions on what you would like to modify on your car they`ll usually have a little hand book or some other literature on what your legal boundries are! If not an officer can tell you those details rather than meeting him later on down the road as he/she writes you a ticket!

Colorado allows you two choices for tinting. If you choose NOT to tint your front rolldowns, use column 1. If you do choose to tint the front rolldowns, follow column two.
