i have a 1990 Dodge Omni and some one just hit my car all that it did to my car is brake the head light and the hood and the fender and the air bag came out and hit me the omni totled his car out the omni still runs good just needs some body work about how much $ would it be to put a new air bag in that kind of car? and about how much would a body shop charge me to fix the car?? please kelp!! and do you think his insurance will pay to fix my car?

I work in a dealership, and to be honest, with how old your car is and considering how much an airbag cost, the airbag is probably worth more than the car. They will most likely total the car. Go to KBB.COM and see how much your car is worth and then call the dealership and ask how much the airbag is. If the airbag and the fender and the headlamp, and the other things you need, plus installing the items, and if they need to be painted, etc,.... add up to more than the car, most likely they will total the car.

Try to keep your car and fix it yourself.The airbag does not have to be replaced.The air bag will run about 500 dollars and the car might be worth that in good condition

Insurance won't pay much because the book value of your car is slightly less than nothing. It won't pay anything if you didn't report it to your insurance company so they can deal with his. That is way way too old a car to start pouring major money into.
