i had rear brakes put on my car yesterday and today the one wheel, there is a smell coming from it and the brake is extremely hot... the guy did it said the caliper pin or something is sticking, and he will block it off so no fluid can get to it and i can drive it till tomorrow when he gets a new pin for it, he said by doing that it will cause nothing to move and it won't stick , and its ok to drive with 3 brakes? any suggestions or other advice?

I'm thinking about buying a new car. The interior and exterior are all in perfect condition. My boyfriend drove it, and he says it drove just fine (except he doesnt know alot about cars)..I think it seems like a good buy for $12,500, but I'm worried about the high mileage.
Is 93,000 Miles alot for a 1999? If it is, about how many miles should I be looking for in a 1999-2003 SUV?

Anything would be helpfull, thanks guys.

On a recent visit to a multi storey car park I drove around the ground floor twice before realising that almost every space was a disabled space (nearly all empty). On another trip to the supermarket yet again it seemed that every parking space within a mile radius was a disabled parking space. Everyday another on street parking space is designated disabled. I find it hard to believe that such as large percent of British drivers are disabled. The combined effects of compensation culture & political correctness and have turned any minor illness/injury into a disability, created Gestapo style supermarket parking attendants and given clampers & traffic wardens a licence to print money.
The majority of people who I see displaying a blue badge don't seem to have any difficulty pushing a trolley, carry children or loading white goods in to their car.
